Rental Information and Prices
The house is usually let from Saturday to Saturday. But we'll try to accommodate other arrival and departure dates wherever possible, particularly in low season.
May - September: minimum stay 1 week
October - April: minimum stay 2 weeks (mid-week bookings by arrangement)
How to Book
Please email or phone to check availability and then reserve your preferred dates by email or fax.
When you contact us, please ask for a booking form and the booking conditions.
Please allow turnaround time of 24 hours for a response.
To secure your booking, please return a signed copy of the booking form by post, enclosing your booking-deposit cheque (40% of rental). Please send a cheque in £ Sterling on a UK bank or ask for bank details.
We'll send you formal confirmation once your cheque has been cleared.
We regret that bookings can only be held provisionally for a few days.
If you're booking within 6 weeks of the start date of your holiday, please send full payment with your signed booking form, including two separate cheques for the refundable breakages deposit (£300/€400) and any chargeable expenses (see below).
For non-UK bookings, please send payment by international bank draft or cheque in GBP on a UK bank, or by wire transfer.
Payment in euros can be arranged. In calculating rental we will use the rate of exchange prevailing on the day of booking. For Euro-zone payments, please pay by SEPA Credit transfer using BIC & IBAN. For any other payment, please add £20 for bank charges.

Mountain bikes (4) can be hired on a weekly basis.

5% discount for bookings of 3 weeks or more and for repeat bookings

Deposits
Non-refundable booking deposit: 40% of total rental (on booking with signed copy of booking form)
Refundable breakage deposit: £300 (400 Euro)
Payments
Rental balance (60%): 6 weeks prior to start date of holiday, with cheque for refundable breakage deposit plus separate cheque for extras
Extras
Cleaning: £30 (35 Euro) per booking towards cost of cleaning between lets
Single week supplement: £14 (16 Euro)
Power/heating (mid Oct.- Apr.): £14 to £40 pw (16-50 Euro) depending on dates (charged at standard EDF cost).
Bed linen and bath/hand towels: hire is optional (by arrangement) - £18 double set (20 Euro), £14 single set (16 Euro)
Cot hire (incl. linen): £12 (14 Euro)
For group size 6-8, please add £10 per extra person p.w.
Arrival and Departure
Please plan your arrival for a time after 4 pm. We ask our visitors to leave the house as tidy as possible, to put any hired linen and towels in the bathroom and to try and set off by 10 am to give us time to get ready for the new guests.
We reserve the right to make price alterations from time to time.
